Lois was one of the original people who, 30 years ago, founded the organisation that became Polio NZ Inc. to support people who had polio. Lois gave so much to help others and she will be dearly missed.
Lois was a power of strength for me at one of Canterburys retreats at Hanmer. Will miss her funnies she sent me. So sorry there was no goodbye. Lois you have earned your rest. R. I. P
I worked with Lois at The Post Office (Telegraph) from when I was 15. She later on babysat for me a couple of times.
Lois was the most beautiful lady; we had quite a number of hilarious times together, including holidays.
I will never forget you Dear Lois, your heart is imprinted on mine forever.
Ling (formerly Heather). Xx
Lois will be well remembered for many reasons but her involvement with Polio NZ and the Duncan Home were my main contact with her. She lived a long life putting up with the difficulties that came along the way. Well done Lois, a good and faithful person. Your legend will live on.
My thoughts are with the family and friends of Lois. Thank you for all you gave to those who came in contact with you. Gone too soon.
