CHESSWAS, James Arthur (Jim)

Peacefully at Broadview Rest Home on 6th June 2022, aged 90 years. Much loved husband for 60 years of the late Shirley. Dearly loved Dad of (the late) David, Penny and Chris, Jane and Neal, and Helen. Loving Grandad of Matthew, and Rachael; Corliss, and Kim; Emily, and Sarah; and Great Grandad of Rose, Finn, and Yuki.

Special thanks to the Broadview Community and Rest Home staff for their friendship and care of Dad.

In memory of Jim donations to Hospice Whanganui would be appreciated.

A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held in Cleveland Chapel, 179 Ingestre Street, Wanganui on Tuesday 14th June 2022 at 1.30pm,and will be live-streamed at www.clevelandfunerals.co.nz.

So sad to hear of Jim's passing I sat next to him in Sinfonia for many many years, as co-leader and later as leader.I was always amazed at how he maintained his dexterity! A wonderful enthusiastic and optimistic friend and fellow fiddler.
