Father and father-in-law of William and Anita, Lynne and Mike Ries, Julie and Paul Rouppe van der Voort, and Darrylle and Paul Sorensen (Australia). Loved grandfather of Isaac, Emma, Reuben, and Lauren; Leni, Carl, and the late William; Joshua, Jessica, Elijah, and Abraham; and his 13 great grandchildren. A private family service has been held.
