Peacefully on Monday, 11th May 2026. Loved wife of the late Clive. Much loved Mum of Denise, and Odette. A loving Oma of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special aunt, cousin and friend.

A service to celebrate Marlene's life will be held in the Cleveland Chapel, 179 Ingestre Street, Wanganui, on Saturday 16th May 2026 at 11.00am. Followed by private cremation.

For as long as I can remember you have been in my life.
Many old black & white photo’s with you carrying a chubby grandson on your hip.
Chubby because your cooking was the best, getting home from primary school & high school, a delicious sandwich with the crusts cut off was waiting, followed by a game of blind mans bluff, rounders or tennis
During university, the sunday roast with Michelin five star gravy & roast potatoes was a welcome after a week of instant noodles.
I appreciated the influence my gran had on me, when a work colleague said ‘bro your words & phrases a old school’
I think my qualities of playfulness, love of sport, & stubbornness are definitely from you.
I love, I miss you, say hi to everyone up there for us.
