Peacefully in Wanganui on Saturday, 27th June 2026. Loved Mum of Sherrie and Peter O’Connor, and Grant Thoms. Dearly loved Nana of Kimberley, Robert and Keefe; Oliver, and Sophie. A much loved sister and sister in law. 

A memorial service for Cheryl will be held in the Cleveland Chapel, 179 Ingestre Street, Wanganui, on Friday 3 July 2026 at 10:30am and live streamed on www.clevelandfunerals.co.nz.

I’m very sorry that we won’t be able to be there for the funeral. Please know that we’ll be thinking of you all and remembering Cheryl on the day.

To my dear sister Cheryl. You will be sadly missed.. I enjoyed the times we got together for coffee and chats at the Resthome. We e shared many a secret. Thank you for those little kisses that one day while I was visiting in hospital. You will live for ever in my heart and on my little table in my lounge. I'll remember those little pecky kisses forever. RIP SIS. I LOVE YOU ❤️
