Notice:

Peacefully on Friday the 9th of May 2025. Much loved wife of 52 years to Michael, Mum to Dwayne and Blair, daughter of Lil and Frank Barns, aunt to cousins ‘all’ and those Christine lovingly and unconditionally took into her arms. Sister to Alan, Glenys, Ian and Dorothy (sister-in-law), Neil and Liane (sister-in-law) and friend to many. A service to celebrate Christine’s life will be held in the Cleveland Chapel, 179 Ingestre Street, Wanganui on Friday the 16th of May at 11am followed by the burial at the Aramoho Cemetery.

Christine was my dear older sister. I am sad that Leanne and I are unable to make it back from Italy to attend her funeral but our thoughts and love are with everyone today, especially Michael, Dwayne and Blair. Christine was a wonderful wife and mother to the family, and much loved by all of us. Rest in Peace, love Neil and Leanne.
