Passed peacefully after a short illness on 1 January 2026.Loving wife of (the late) Des Kendrick, and Mum to (the late) Debbie, Sharyn, Paul, and Kelly; and step Mum to Terry, Jennette, Gaylene and (the late) Eddie. Loving Nana to Sarah, Jack, Kyan, and Taeh; and great Nana to Shevarn, and Cohen.

She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A service to celebrate Marlene's life will be held in the Cleveland Chapel, 179 Ingestre Street, Wanganui, on Tuesday, 6 January 2026 at 10am followed by private cremation, and will be live-streamed at www.clevelandfunerals.co.nz
